Basic enquiries about way or working with RentSher
RentSher is an online platform for renting event furniture and services, electronics, medical and travel essentials. Our motto is “Happy Renting”. As a renter, you can browse RentSher website, select any product you like and book it for the dates you want to rent the product. You can book a wide range of products from our one stop shop - so no need to call multiple providers, negotiate pricing and take all the stress for rentals. We will arrange for the products to be delivered and picked up from your doorstep or for certain products you may need to do a “click and collect” i.e. collect from one of our storage locations. As a rental business / product owner you can upload details of your product(s) online and they will be available for others to rent on our website. RentSher will manage the order booking, payment and delivery as value added services to make renting a happy process for renters and product owners.
If you need any product on rent, you can either browse our categories or search for a product. After selecting the product(s), choose the duration for which you want to rent the product, choose the payment and delivery option and RentSher will get the products delivered and collected as per your requirements.
If you are a rental business / product owner looking to rent out your products, just upload the product online. We will review and validate the details and then display your product online. Renters interested in your product can book the products online. For further details on this, check How it works? section.
RentSher policies, permissions, rules and terms
Delivery and collection time: Once you select a product and place the order, RentSher will deliver the product a few hours before your requirements or as per the time agreed upon order confirmation. After the rental duration is over, the product will be collected by RentSher representative from your doorstep - most likely in a few hours from the end of rental duration or as agreed upon order confirmation. We make best effort to inform you of the rider dispatch and coordinate the delivery timing suitable for you. If you have particular delivery instruction, you can mention it in 'delivery notes' at the time of checkout.
Delivery fee Our delivery fee on the website is indicative and applicable for delivery within Dubai city limits. For areas either far-off from Dubai city and other Emirates in UAE we may request for additional delivery fee to be able to deliver your order. Further, in orders where additional manpower /delivery time is needed (e.g. high-rise buildings), early morning / late night delivery and collection and/or multiple delivery/collection locations we may apply additional charges that will be communicated as part of final order confirmation / before delivery. We can only accept the booking upon acceptance of our delivery fee from your side.
Advance payment All our orders need minimum 50% advance payment before delivery to secure your booking and remaining payment upon delivery. We cannot complete the delivery/ set-up without receiving 100% payment.
Payment options There are 3 different payment options available - Online transfer (net banking), cash deposit in bank or our office and cash on delivery. We are currently working on activating payment gateway for online credit card payment and it shall be available soon.
Refundable deposit The refundable security deposit has to be paid in cash upon delivery and is returned upon collection in cash or transferred online into your bank account upon checking the rented items and in case of no loss/damage.
Normal wear and tear from use is of course acceptable. However if the product is broken, substantially damaged or lost, you have to either replace the product with another product in similar condition or pay the amount for repair or market value of the product if it cannot be repaired. In such cases the maximum payment will be the cost of replacement as listed on our website. If your deposit is more than the cost of replacement we will deduct the cost of replacement from your deposit. In case your deposit is not sufficient to cover the cost of replacement you are liable to pay additional amount to match the total cost of replacement.
Order cancellation: In case of orders cancelled before 48 hours of scheduled delivery time we will not be able to refund the booking amount. For orders cancelled prior to 48 hours before delivery we will deduct upto 20% of the order value and refund the remaining amount. In case you are changing the rental dates, we will be able to utilize the booking amount for future date as long as the product is available on the required dates. If not, the order will need to be cancelled and the cancellation policy will be applicable.
RentSher only provides the products for rent. The installation, maintenance and manpower is not the part of our rental charges unless specified in the product description on our website. In some cases, we may be able to provide manpower and/or maintenance at additional cost. Please contact our team before booking if such services are needed.
The rental fee we charge along with the deposit is still less than the actual product value. To ensure the safety of our products and to ensure that the products are returned in good condition when due, we need to know you are a genuine renter. Getting ID and address proof will help us ensure the same. Your ID and address proof will never be shared with any third party.

We understand it is exciting to be able to rent out your products through an online platform. We just need to follow some simple steps before renting out your products. To start, you can upload the products through our <a href="/uploadproduct">“upload for rent”</a> section. We will then review, edit if needed and publish the products. Our team will be in touch if we have any questions. Usually it takes a couple of days for us to activate your products. We will inform you once your products are live on our website.

RentSher is an online marketplace for rentals and we aggregate our supplies through different storage / distribution locations across the city. You are welcome to our office to meet the team but we cannot showcase any products as the products are stored across various locations. We have a strict policy of no external visitors at our warehouses.
