RentSher is the region's first online marketplace for rentals of anything and everything such as laptops, projectors, audio-video equipment, gaming consoles, cameras, lenses, party furniture, party props, toys and games, strollers, car-seats, dresses and costumes, luxury handbags and watches etc. Our products and services will be powered by our suppliers and individual asset owners and quality tested by team RentSher. We will take the sharing economy beyond cars and houses to day-to- day individual and business needs.

RentSher offers 1000+ products and has already served more than 2000 customers in Dubai. We will soon expand to other cities in the region.

Role and responsibilities-

As BD manager you will be a core driver to support RentSher’s launch and success in the region. You will work closely with the senior leadership with past experience from top consulting firms and retail industry. Specifically you will assist the Director of Supplier and Customer Relations on the following:

  • Supplier identification: Researching the current supplier landscape to identify and list suppliers for various products and services
  • Supplier reach-out: Contact potential suppliers to provide an overview of RentSher’s value proposition and arrange for in-person meetings for product demo
  • Supplier database management: Manage the supplier database to update status based on last interaction and next steps to provide input to RentSher leadership
  • Supplier on-boarding: On-board suppliers on RentSher platform including uploading their product inventory at the back-end and training suppliers on order management process
  • Client relationship management: Identifying large potential clients, meeting them to educate about RentSher offerings and generating leads / revenue through client relationship
  • Event representation: Representing RentSher at various forums and events
  • Product curation: Creating curated packages by bundling products from multiple suppliers and marketing them through various channels
  • Campaign creation support: Providing input for campaign creation based on curated products, available supply, seasonal events etc.
Skills / Experience:

We are looking for individuals who have a can do attitude and are ready to take the challenge of working in a high growth, fast paced start-up environment. Our skills/experience requirement are flexible as we believe it is about the “Attitude” and the “Chemistry” and not the CV; Points below summarize what an ideal profile may be but if you have something different to offer and are excited to be a part of the RentSher story please do reach out to us

  • 2-4 years of experience with ability to work with individuals from diverse background
  • Experience in sales / business development role including field efforts i.e. out of office sales
  • Education: Business / Marketing degrees preferred but not mandatory
  • Basic MS office skills (Word, Excel and Power Point)
  • Fluent in English and any other language such as Arabic, Hindi / Urdu, Malyalam, French etc.
  • Knowledge of UAE landscape i.e. local areas, customer preferences and cultural awareness

You will work closely with the senior leadership with past experience from top consulting firms and retail industry. Specifically you will assist the Director of Supplier and Customer Relations on the following:

  • Enquiry and order management: Handling online / over the call enquiries and orders including but not limited to receiving customer calls, informing customers about products and services available, updating enquiry and order logs, order confirmation with suppliers and post order support for customers / suppliers
  • Product curation: Creating curated packages by bundling products from multiple suppliers and marketing them through various channels
  • Campaign creation support: Providing input for campaign creation based on curated products, available supply, seasonal events etc
  • Event representation: Representing RentSher at various forums and events
Skills / Experience:

Role and responsibilities-

As an intern on digital marketing you will be a core driver to support RentSher’s launch and success in the region. Our interns will receive coaching from senior leadership with past experience from top consulting firms and retail industry. The Intern – Digital Profile Management will assist the Managing Director on the following:

  • SEO/SEM management: Managing the digital profiles / keywords / adwords etc. in coordination with the business development team and business head to support SEO/SEM
  • Social media management: Providing support in maintaining social media profile (Facebook, Google+, WhatsApp, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn) incl. creating relevant pages, creating online campaign content, online interaction with customers, writing blogs, articles, creating online contests etc.
  • Customer reach out: Online reach out to customers informing them about new products added, latest offers, latest articles etc.
  • Event representation: Representing RentSher at various forums and events such as start-up meets, customer events etc.
  • Campaign creation support: Providing input for digital campaign creation based on curated products, available supply, seasonal events etc.
Skills / Experience:

  • Education: Business / Marketing / IT degrees preferred but not mandatory
  • Excellent written communication skills e.g. writing blogs, articles, reviews etc.
  • Experience in managing digital / social media presence for any organization / group
  • Basic MS office skills (Word, Excel and Power Point)
  • Fluent in English and at least one other language such as Arabic, Hindi / Urdu, French etc.
  • Knowledge of Dubai landscape i.e. local areas, customer preferences and cultural awareness
  • Valid UAE residency / GCC national
